Just wanted to send an email to say what a wonderful time Peter and I had in China. We thoroughly enjoyed the panda trip. It was an experience like no other. I would like to thank you for your organisation of it and mention the staff who looked after us during our stay. In particular I would like to make special mention of our guide at the Panda base- Frank. We LOVED him!!! He was extremely attentive to our needs, exuded enthusiasm, and made our stay so memorable. We certainly noticed the difference in the guides that we had in the different cities, and Frank was, by far, our favourite. Please pass on our thanks to him for making an already enjoyable trip fantastic.

My apologies for not writing sooner, but have been extremely busy since my return from China. What an amazing trip it was!!! We are so grateful to Pat Mar for letting us know about this tour or we would have missed a wonderful opportunity. I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed the tour and especially having Joe take us personally from Beijing to Xian and the Panda Reserve. The highlight of the tour was Bifenghia (Giant Panda Reserve). We thoroughly enjoyed being there for two days and having Joe's presense was immensely helpful - things happen and get done when he speaks. Also, I believe he arranged for a special guide in Xian and our tour of the Terra Cotta Warrior Museum complex was a VIP TOUR!!! We all felt so important and privileged.

Since our return home, we have talked to a lot of our friends who wanted to know about our trip and many people have asked for your tour, so we have given out Postjourneys' website to many people. We couldn't say enough about the tour and how we were treated and what an amazing experience we had. I will never forget this trip. Thank you for all you did for us, it was truly appreciated.

Hi Helga, Just wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful time in China. The guides (especially Don in Beijing and Nora in Chengdu) were great. The panda experience in Chengdu was fabulous and I can't thank you enough for making it all happen. Everything went without a hitch and I am amazed at how much we saw and did. I would recommend your company to anyone who asks. The whole experience was terrific! Cheryl and Donnie.

I just had to e-mail you to let you know what a fantastic time I had in China! The tour was everything your brochure said it would - and more! The tour guides were excellent and great fun. From the moment we landed in Beijing we felt very happy. Don met us and took us to our hotel giving us some advise and money and other bits and pieces during the drive to the hotel. All the hotels were very good and staff very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed visiting all the sites and then it was off to Wolong which was amazing! Once more the staff there was great and looked after us all the time we were there. Frank, our guide, kept an eye son us to make sure everything was going well and he turned out to be a great photographer. he took photos of us when we went to play with the little ones. We met Joe Zhou too, he met the group in Chengdu and he is such a nice guy. The highlight for me I think, was having my photo taken with an adolescent panda on our last day at Wolong. I'd joined the Panda Club but didn't realize that this meant I'd get my picture taken with a young panda (we were already had been in the play area with the little pandas the day before). I think it was all Frank's doing. I was about to walk off when those who adopted pandas had their photos taken when Frank said "let's get someone to sort this out and take your photo.!

As you can probably gather from this e-mail, my husband I had a fantastic time! So much so that we intend to return in 2009 to the Panda Experience again. I hope you will still be doing the trip then. Regards Amanda, UK

I have finally managed to catch up with work/shopping and laundry after the experience that was China.

Well, it was absolutely fantastic - Joe and his guides were marvelous, they looked after all of us wonderfully. Lynne and I more than the others who all were couples. Indeed Joe and Frank even showed us nightlife Wolong style one night! The hotels were fantastic, the travel arrangements were perfect, everyone in the group blended together and I Lynne and I who were room mates and didn't each other beforehand, are now friends for life, and about six us have been e-mailing each other already.

And the pandas, they were a dream come true. I am sure the feedback you will get from everyone else will be the same, but I was more emotional than anyone else in the group. It became a standing joke that I would cry over the pandas at least 5 times a day. They were the most fascinating animals I have seen. Our "Masters" were fantastic any Master called Tree even spoke English! The dinner the last night was brilliant, God knows how many bottles of rice wine were drunk, you were right about the toasts, I managed to skip quite a few, that rice wine was evil! We arrived back in Vancouver Nov. 3 and home the next day. The trip was great - beyond our expectations to tell you the truth. Of course it certainly helped to have such nice hotels along the way. Jeannie and I arrived early (as you know) and took advantage of some local sightseeing. We went to the Capital Museum in Beijing, it is new and few foreign tourists seem to go there. We highly recommend it. We have been asked what our favorite part was and we truly can't say. Everything was better than we could ever dream of, Beijing, Chenge, the Great Wall was fantastic especially since we did go to a spot without tourists, Xian, Chengdu and of course the pandas.

Was there anything that was negative? Well not much as it turned out. Our guides were helpful, fun and knowledgeable. The meals were good, many really good, as were the hotels. The intimacy of a smaller group was appreciated. Thank you for a great trip. Lowell Johnson

Sorry it took me so long to e-mail you, but I have been busy downloading and sorting our pictures from China. Jim had a wonderful time. The British couples Amanda & Andy that we met on the trip were lovely people. We hit it off from the start. The hotels were all top notch except the one in Chengde which was substituted for the one stated in the itinerary. It was not up the standard of all the others, there was obviously a reason for it and it was only for one night. I was also worried about the food before the trip since I am a picky eater, but the food was very good and I found a lot of things I really enjoyed. The pandas were fabulous. I live in DC and see the pandas at the zoo there often, but seeing that many pandas in one place playing together was just great. And the best part was getting in with the cubs!!!! Unbelievable. It was even fun cleaning out the yards and cages and feeding them was the best. Where else can you put a slice of apple in a pandas mouth! All the guides were great, Joe has a good team working for him. All in All it was a great rip and I am so glad Jim and I were able to go. Thanks and take care, Barbara Sorber

Wanted to let you know we had a wonderful tour. You and Joe Zhou do a great job finding the best places to stay and things to see. To go into the pit and walk among the Terra Cotta Warrior was fantastic. China is such a large country and I was surprised at all the progress everywhere. I would like to see more. I have to admit I was a little out of shape and did not feel 100% in the beginning since I had just gotten over the flu before I left. I had to take a lot of Tylenol for my bad back, but it didn't matter. The pandas made up for it all. They were unbelievable. I and Wendy thank you again for being so helpful on the trip, give my best regards to Joe and all the guides who were the best. Love Alice

Hi, I apologize for not writing soon, been trying to get over jet lag. The China trip was fantastic, the pandas were an experience I will never forget. The tour was perfectly organized and everything went smooth. The guides were very good and knowledgeable especially Frank who supplemented our Asian breakfasts of congee, steamed buns and tea with peanut butter, eggs, toast and jam. He had brought it all with him knowing that we Americans would be pleased to have these things, and of course we were more than pleased. There wasn't really anything that should have been different or that disappointed us. It was hazy and smoggy in Beijing in the mornings, that is true, but I am from Los Angeles and that is nothing I am not used to. By 10 though the haze burned off and the sun came out each day. Great trip, thank you, thank you, thank you, Angie and John.

I wanted to THANK YOU SO MUCH for the wonderful tour to China that my friends and I just took. It was fabulous! Everything was so nice -- good food, lovely accommodations, wonderful pandas, great tours, and such friendly guides! I loved it all. China is an awesome place to visit.

I've been raving to everyone about it. I will certainly recommend your company to anyone wanting to travel abroad. And I hope to be taking another of your tours sometime in the future!
